Excellent tips. Number two is a great suggestion- I think we get so wrapped up in the familiarity of what's said to us and the immediate reaction to it we lose the value of our individuality. I would also combine number one and number three, to talk in an accent at an off the beaten track independent coffee shop (though there's probably three more Starbucks on that different path). These are good tips for being alive. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting! I agree. I think we often assume we know what is being said and just stop listening or only listen one one level when so many other things are being said that we miss. It's a constant practice I find. Also, accents are just plain funny. (at any coffee shop!)
ReplyDeleteFeel free Andy or anyone to add your own suggestions as well!
Thanks for engaging!
